REAL ESTATE

That First Cup of Tea in Your New Home

Shouldn’t everyone get an opportunity to have that feeling? The ability to have a safe, warm environment that you can call your own home. We want to make that happen – provide service users with the ability to have independence in their own home whilst supporting care providers to be able to provide care efficiently and effectively. We have been involved in developing real estate projects across the UK.

ADVISORY

Understanding the Benefits of Supported Living

We appreciate that Supported Living is a growing and ever changing area. It is important to understand how it compares and differs with traditional care. We therefore actively work with local authorities and commissioners, care providers, housing associations
and families to help create awareness about Supported Living to help all parties to be able to make an informed choice about what is right for the service users.
We also have experience advising local authorities and commissioners, housing associations and care providers entering into supported living agreements.

ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY

Using Technology To Makes a Real Difference

Assistive technology is the use of technology to improve the quality of life and safety of residents. We use a number of different cutting edge assistive technologies that makes a real difference to service users. The assistive technology we use varies on a project by project basis but falls into the following three areas

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

This includes “smart homes” technology
products to assist Housing Associations
mange the upkeep of properties and
detect early signs of problems.

RESIDENTS QUALITY OF LIFE

This includes technology products that assist with both learning difficulties (e.g. communication aids) and physical difficulties (e.g. personal pendants). Service users will be assessed on an individual basis to consider technology that adds the most value to improving their quality of life.

PROVISION OF CARE

Technology products can help care
professionals with monitoring the service
users’ routine and behavior. This does not
replace the provision of care but
frees up carers time to focus
on higher value services.
